MLK Day of Service

What do you get when you mix hands, hearts, and a bit of fresh paint? A day to remember. That’s what unfolded on Martin Luther King Day at Ann’s Heart in Phoenixville, where Rotary members from across Southeastern Pennsylvania came together—not just to work, but to connect, laugh, and leave something better than they found it.
On Monday, January 19, 2026, Rotary club members from around our region gathered at the former Sacred Heart Church to take part in a maintenance and beautification project. The mission: give this treasured community space a fresh coat of care.
It was a day to live our motto—“Service Above Self.” With brushes in hands and smiles on faces, volunteers shared stories, made new friends, and enjoyed doing something good together. It wasn’t just a paint job; it was a reminder of the impact we can have when we come together with purpose and heart. This is what Rotary is all about: fellowship, service, and fun.
