Ardmore Rotary Centennial Charity Celebration

  • The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve 3821 West Chester Pike Newtown Square, PA, 19073 United States (map)

We warmly invite you to the Ardmore Rotary Centennial Charity Celebration, a once-in-a-lifetime milestone marking 100 years of service and community leadership. We hope you will join us and become part of our story!

This elegant gala will feature cocktails, dinner, live and silent auctions, and a memorable program honoring our century of service. Your attendance — and, we hope, your sponsorship — will help propel us into our second century.

Proceeds will support Rotary’s global campaign to eradicate polio, as well as local charities and Ardmore Rotary initiatives that change lives every day. The first one-third of funds will go to Rotary International's continuing and necessary work to eradicate Polio once and for all. The remaining two-thirds of the proceeds will be allocated as we do annually to local organizations.

Tickets: $250 per person. Attire: Formal evening wear. Black tie is encouraged, but not required. Whether you choose a tuxedo or a dark suit, a gown or a cocktail dress, your presence will help create an unforgettable evening!

The Keynote Speaker is Dr. Paul A. Offit, a pediatrician, infectious disease specialist, and internationally recognized authority on the history and impact of vaccines. He serves as Director of the Vaccine Education Center at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and is the Maurice R. Hilleman Professor of Vaccinology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.

A widely published physician and author, Dr. Offit has written extensively about the history of polio and its devastating effect on generations of children and families. His acclaimed book The Cutter Incident examined the early challenges of the polio vaccine and the lessons that helped shape modern public health successes.
